Think you know everything? Let's test that.

Disclaimer: There's a lot of you who might find some of this general knowledge.

1. In 1990-91 Valiant Comics made a Zelda comic series based off the 1980's short-lived TV Series.

Yes. You read that right. They went as far as writing a comic series using the tv show as a premise. In one comic Link even gets his own "pig-face" after taking the triforce. Think the CDI is rough? Read on of these!

2. Link's Blue Tunic Was First Seen On His Apprentice Riruto

Yes, the blue tunic was seen first on Riruto. The young apprentice of Link featured in the spin-off manga series ゼルダの伝説: リルトの誓い, Zeruda no Densetsu: Riruto no Chikai or in English, The Legend of Zelda: Oath Of Riruto. Created in 1995, this Japnese exclusive manga folwed young Riruto on his many journeys and did not focus on Zelda, Link, or Ganon. Instead, the series is focused on Hyrule itself. A fresh new take in my opinion.

3. Not All Zelda Mangas Are As Innocent As The Games

Early on in the Zelda franchises birth people wanted to know the plot of the game in its entirety and discover stories of the world of Hyrule. Manga artists delivered. In one Manga Zelda has an affair with a foreign elf king and gives birth to Link. In a different manga Ganon kills Princess Zelda right before Link comes. One thing is for sure, the exclusively Japanese manga's from the 1980's are WILD.

4. Nintendo Commissioned One-Shot Manga To Promote A Link To The Past

Sadly, it has never been reprinted and finding a copy of these comics are hard to come by.

5. There's A Lot Of Manga That Has Never Been Translated

There's a total of nine series to be exact! These mostly were printed as Japanese manga in the late 80's and early 90's. It's also unlikely we will never see an English versions of these mangas. Some of the author's include Yuu Mishouzaki, Toshihiro Ono, Junya Furusawa, Jin Munesue, Ataru Cagiva, and Maru Ran!

If you're a collector, theorist, or general fan, I highly suggest getting a copy or reading the plot outlines on some of the Zelda manga you didn't know about!
